Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care / Med Surg Telemetry position requiring 2 years of PCU/MS-Tele experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

Med Surg/Telemetry unit with a home base on a 36-bed floor
Patient ratios of 5 to 6:1 RN
Floating required, including to PCU, ED Hold, and other sister campuses
12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Uses Epic EMR
No on-call requirements

Requirements

Active FL or compact RN license required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
2 years of PCU experience mixed with Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
Accredited nursing degree or 5 years of experience required
Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred

Additional Information

Travelers are expected to function as core staff and will be first to float, including to sister campuses located 15-20 minutes away
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and local candidates are not accepted
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront and will not be approved after acceptance
Galaxy Blue or White scrubs required
Strong team culture with an emphasis on flexibility and willingness to float
