Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Progressive Care/IMC Unit role requiring compact RN license and CRRT experience.

Details

  • Work in a high-acuity 20-bed Adult Intermediate Medical Care (IMC)/Cardiovascular Unit
  • 13-week assignment with a scheduled shift of 06:45-19:15
  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients using advanced medical equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare team members on individualized care plans

Requirements

  • Active RN license (Compact or MD state license) required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant nursing experience
  • CRRT experience required
  • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start

  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments accurately per physician orders
  • Monitor and respond promptly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient status and nursing interventions
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
  • Follow strict infection control protocols
  • Willing to precept and participate in ongoing clinical education
  • Works within a supportive, collaborative team environment across the hospital
