Job Summary
Pre-Operative Registered Nurse (RN) Local. This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in a clinical setting with a focus on pre-operative assessment, patient education, and care planning. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic, patient-centered care prior to procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency in the perioperative process.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Dayshift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week, from 10/05/2026 to 12/28/2026.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid California RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), no minimum experience specified.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pre-operative settings or outpatient surgery is preferred.
  • Additional Information: Responsible for conducting pre-operative assessments, preparing patients for procedures, educating patients and families, and supporting clinical operations. Provides orientation and training to new staff and assists with supply management. Participates in quality improvement initiatives and works as part of an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
