We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Postpartum Registered Nurse for a travel contract at a leading acute-care hospital in Seattle, WA. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, providing high-quality care to postpartum patients following delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Provide care for high-risk obstetric patients in the postpartum unit.
• Manage a high census of patients, including the potential to handle a surge in patient load.
• Administer medications and treatments, including magnesium, Pitocin, and Foley catheter placement.
• Monitor and respond to postpartum hemorrhage and substance withdrawal cases.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

**Requirements:**

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity postpartum care.
• Active compact nursing license.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• Ability to float to Issaquah Campus - Postpartum, Edmonds Campus - Postpartum, and Labor and Delivery for the second hour of recovery.
• Weekend commitment: 6 weekend days per contract.
