Join a leading acute-care hospital in Seattle, WA, as a Postpartum Registered Nurse specializing in Mother-Baby and Couplet Care. We are seeking dedicated RNs who are passionate about providing exceptional care to new mothers and their infants.

This contract position offers a unique opportunity for nurses with high-risk obstetric care experience. You will be working in a high volume, diverse patient population, managing postpartum treatment following delivery. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the well-being of both mothers and their babies during this critical time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-risk obstetric care to postpartum patients.
• Manage a census surge, potentially overseeing up to 4 couplets.
• Administer medications including Magnesium and Pitocin.
• Perform necessary procedures such as Foley catheter insertion and managing postpartum hemorrhage.
• Support patients experiencing substance withdrawal (JADA experience preferred).

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in high acuity postpartum care.
• Active compact license accepted.
• Certifications required: BLS, NRP.
• Experience with EPIC is mandatory.
• Availability for 6 weekend days per contract.
