Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OB, Mother/Baby, Postpartum, or maternal-newborn nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced maternity care environment
• Travel RN experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate postpartum and newborn care to mother-baby couplets
• Support labor and delivery workflow as needed within the unit
• Assist with OBED triage, inductions, and routine maternal-newborn assessments
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care while monitoring patient recovery and progress
• Collaborate with providers, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes
• Promote family-centered education and support during the postpartum experience
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical record systems
