Polysomnographic Technologist
Northside Hospital Cherokee | Canton, GA | 13 Weeks | 36 hrs/week | 12-Hour Nights
Northside Hospital Cherokee is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist for its Sleep Disorder Lab. The technologist will prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies and monitor/document polysomnographic testing.
Position Highlights:
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Shifts: Thursday–Saturday nights, schedule may vary
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Patient population: Adolescent, Adult & Geriatric
Prepare patients and equipment for sleep disorder testing.
Monitor polysomnograms and document findings according to policy.
Work with sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respiratory events.
Major Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major holidays — Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day — plus 1 minor holiday.
Requirements:
2+ years of Polysomnography experience
RPSGT certification/registration through BRPT required
BLS through AHA required
Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and sleep-study procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
