- Proficient in NATUS sleep works and MPR home units
Description:
Unit has 4 beds with ratios of 2:1 or 1:1 depending on patient needs.
Common diagnoses include pulmonary patients, OSA, CSA, OHS, COPD, and oxygen-dependent patients.
This position does not require RNs to titrate drips.
There is no charge nurse or house supervisor taking assignments.
There are no nurse aids on this unit.
RT equipment includes CPAP, BiPAP, and ASV.
There is no telemetry on this unit and no monitoring techs involved.
Self-scheduling is not allowed, but there is some flexibility with scheduling.
Weekend and holiday requirements do not apply.
There is no call or standby requirement for this position.
Floating to other units is not required.
The dress code is navy blue scrubs.
New hires will have an informal orientation to the lab to become familiar with the department.
The cancellation policy allows for 2 shifts per contract.
Charting is conducted using the EPIC system.
