Job Summary:
A Polysomnographer is a sleep technologist working in a sleep laboratory setting, responsible for performing in-center and out-of-center sleep studies. Under the supervision of lead sleep technologists, they conduct sleep testing procedures, analyze and score sleep data, and ensure patient comfort and safety. This role involves collaboration with medical management to deliver high-quality sleep diagnostics and patient education.

Job Details:

  • Shift: Nights, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate from an accredited polysomnography program by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC), or a STAR designated program through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT). Credential from the BRPT, the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC), or the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM). Possess a PA Act 31, PA Act 33, PA Act 34, and PA Act 73 certification. Must hold a valid Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. At least 2 years of experience is required.

    • Perform sleep study preparation, setup, and procedures with attention to quality and patient care.
    • Analyze and score sleep studies accurately.
    • Maintain and clean equipment and patient rooms, and manage lab supplies.

    • The position is scheduled to start on 09/21/2026 and end on 12/19/2026, with no travel required.
