Job Summary
Polysomnographer, POLY located in the sleep laboratory setting. This position involves performing sleep studies and administering treatments for patients with sleep disorders, utilizing specialized equipment such as Natus XLTEK sleep testing devices and Resmed PAP machines. The role requires working overnight shifts to ensure patient care and testing procedures are properly executed.
Job Details
- Position Description: Performs sleep studies and administers treatments on patients with sleep disorders, including CPAP, Oxygen, and Bilevel therapy. Utilizes equipment such as Natus XLTEK sleep testing devices, Resmed PAP machines, and EPIC One Chart Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ND Respiratory Care License and Registered Sleep Technologist (RPSGT) certification. Minimum of two years of related work experience in the Sleep Disorders field preferred, with specific pediatric experience.
- Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour overnight shifts per week.
- Requirements: Must have BLS Certification and RPSGT certification via BRPT. Must have ND license and peds experience.
- Additional Information: Orientation includes a week working with day sleep technologists to learn workflows, policies, procedures, and testing methods. Candidate must badge in and out at the facility. This location does not accept local travelers within 80 miles. Candidate must have prior experience working with Sanford Health, with end date more than 6 months prior to submission date.
