Description

American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of recent high-acuity PICU experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

  • Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30) with a 50/50 rotation of 9 days/9 nights, or straight nights accepted
  • Every other weekend required
  • Floating required as needed to other ICUs including MICU, NICU, and CICU
  • Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications (AHA only)
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience in a high-acuity critical care setting required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Prior travel nursing assignment experience required
  • Two verified professional references from two different facilities among the last three places worked

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
  • Must be willing to work winter holidays
  • Local candidates accepted at a different rate within 50 miles of the facility
