Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing high-quality care to pediatric patients. We are looking for dedicated professionals with a passion for pediatric nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Float to other pediatric units as needed, including the Pediatric ED, NNICU, inpatient departments, and Wini 1 (psych).

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a PICU setting.
Current certifications in PALS and BLS are required.
Experience in cardiac critical care, CRRT, and ECMO certifications are preferred.
Must be willing to float to other pediatric units as needed.
Pending licenses are accepted.

Additional Information:

RTO requests will be considered based on unit needs; extended time off, particularly during holidays, may not be approved.
Guaranteed hours are provided.
Parking cost is $125/month.
Charting is done via Epic.
