Join a leading healthcare organization as a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). We are seeking dedicated professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional care to our infant, pediatric, and adolescent patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PICU, managing complex medical conditions.
• Monitor patient status and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float to Peds and Peds ED as needed to meet facility requirements.

Requirements:

• 1 year of PICU experience is required.
• Maryland or compact RN license required upon submission.
• Certifications: BCLS/BLS, PALS, and Basic EKG Exam.
• Strong dysrhythmia interpretation and management experience.
• Experience with central line and PICC line management.
• Comfortable caring for ventilated pediatric patients and managing acute airways.

Unit Information:

• This is a 6-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
• Common diagnoses include respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, pain management, and sepsis.
• Orientation is approximately 40 hours, including virtual, clinical, and on-unit orientation.

Scheduling and Time Off:

• Traveler will be scheduled for 5 weekends within each 6-week schedule.
• Time off requests (RTO) for 14 days or less will be auto-approved; however, no RTO is allowed on hard-to-fill days.
