Description

American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for a PICU position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of recent pediatric ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a hospital setting
• Care for specialized pediatric patients up to age 25, including epilepsy monitoring
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
• Required to work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact RN license required in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in PICU specialty prior to travel assignments required
• Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience acceptable)
• Experience with EKGs and inotropes required
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be passed during orientation
