Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring 18 months of recent PICU experience and an active OH or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Pediatric ICU setting
• Cares for pediatric patients up to age 25, including epilepsy monitoring
• Night shift, 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00pm-7:30am
• Uses EKG and inotrope therapies
• Must work at least every other holiday

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license in hand required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• 18 months of recent permanent experience in PICU required prior to travel assignments
• 18 months of recent pediatric experience required (travel experience accepted)
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (co-worker references not accepted)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Additional Information

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric ICU patients including epilepsy monitoring and inotrope management
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required (maximum 2 attempts)
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Travelers may only work one assignment at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System
• RTO must be discussed during the interview process
