Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in Cleveland, OH. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing specialized care to patients up to 25 years of age. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are ready to make a difference in the lives of young patients.

As a PICU RN, you will work rotating shifts, including nights and days, with a focus on delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. The facility will do its best to honor your preferred shift but reserves the right to rotate as necessary to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor and manage patients with epilepsy and other complex conditions.
• Perform EKGs and administer inotropes as needed.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Requirements:

• 12 months of permanent experience in PICU or similar specialty.
• Must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or Compact State License.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NIHHS certification preferred.
• Must work at least every other holiday.
