Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and individualized care to critically ill pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to facilitate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
  • Float to NICU, Pediatric Med-Surg, and ED as required to provide support.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation using Peds Connect (EPIC) system.
  • Participate in unit-based competencies and special testing during general orientation.
  • Comply with safety policies, including the seasonal influenza vaccination policy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required; previous travel experience required.
  • Active Colorado RN License or Compact RN License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
  • Ability to work 2 out of 3 specified holidays in a given period.
  • Preferred certifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
