Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in beautiful San Diego, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for RNs looking to make a difference in the lives of pediatric patients. We are seeking dedicated professionals who are willing to accept a contract position starting on November 9, 2026.

As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill children. Your skills in airway management, ventilator support, pain control, and cardiac monitoring will be essential in this role. You will also have the opportunity to train in the PACU if you do not have prior experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Manage airway, ventilation, and pain control for critically ill children.
• Monitor cardiac status and fluid/electrolyte balance.
• Provide discharge instructions to patients and families.

Requirements:

• 1 year of pediatric hospital experience.
• 1 year of travel experience.
• Current CA RN license.
• Associate's degree in nursing.
• BLS/CPR (AHA) certification.
• PALS (AHA) certification.

This position requires flexibility, as you will need to be available for weekend shifts and possible on-call duties. You may be required to work one call shift per weeknight or one call shift every other weekend, along with one holiday call as needed. First-time travelers are welcome to apply!
