Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PICU position requiring 5+ years of pediatric critical care experience and a CA RN license.

Details

  • Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a teaching hospital
  • Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30)
  • Patient ratio of 1:2
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • May float to other UCSF facilities within a 75+ mile radius as needed

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • BSN required
  • AHA BLS and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 5 years of PICU experience required
  • Teaching hospital experience required
  • Pediatric CVICU experience preferred
  • Previous charge experience preferred
  • Experience with ventilator management, central line care, and other critical care skills including respiratory, cardiovascular, neurologic, and renal interventions
  • 2 references from most recent employer required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a Level I trauma teaching hospital setting
