Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Assigned to a Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU unit with 15 beds
• Patient ratio of 2:1
• Night shift team includes Intensivist, RN, and Respiratory Therapist
• Work with general cardiac/respiratory monitoring equipment
• Utilize Meditech/CPN electronic medical records system
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
• Must work well under pressure and in a teaching hospital environment
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PICU RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS
• CRRT experience preferred
• APHON certification preferred
• Pediatric teaching hospital experience preferred

This facility is a Level II Trauma center housing a dedicated Pediatric ICU with 15 beds and a staff of 38 healthcare professionals. The unit operates with a multidisciplinary team approach, including intensivists, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management. The facility emphasizes high-quality patient care in a dynamic teaching hospital environment, offering advanced technology and a collaborative team atmosphere.
