TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Peoria, Illinois.
Active IL license
Certs required: BLS, PALS
Experience required: 2 Years experience in PICU required.
# Beds: 16 ICU, 16 INT.
Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:1-1:2.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Medical/Surgical/Neuro and CV ICU all in one-all diagnosis.
Experience or 'Must have' skills: 2 years of experience in PICU
free charge RN 24/7. House supervisor 24/7.
1 PCT for all of PICU. Intensivist are in house 24/7 along with APP and Residents RT Equipment: We use Avia, Servo U and Home Vents trilogy and LTV.
All patients are on bedside Phillips monitors. We have 24/7 monitor tech. Nurses should be able to recognize rhythm changes and understand associated interventions.
Every other weekend. Weekend are considered: Friday/Saturday Nightshift and Saturday/Sunday Dayshift.
Holiday Requirement: Depends on time of assignment, may work 1 significant and 1 insignificant holiday.
Floating Requirements: To PIC and lower levels of care by turn. NICU/NIC is up to the traveler.
Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided?: No restriction - just friendly to Children. Unit/Department specific orientation: 3-4 (12) hr shifts
