Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced pediatric critical care environment. We welcome first-time travelers with experience and encourage candidates with a compact license to apply. Enjoy a supportive team atmosphere with orientation provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
  • Perform procedures including breathing treatments, chest tube setup and care, and rapid sequence intubation.
  • Administer blood and blood products, manage central lines, and operate various pumps.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Float to NICU or other units within your skill set as needed.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of pediatric critical care experience preferred.
  • Charge experience is preferred.
  • Certifications: BLS, PALS (required); NRP, CRRT (preferred).
  • Ability to work every other weekend.
