Join a leading acute-care hospital as a PICU Registered Nurse in Seattle, WA. This travel contract position offers an exciting opportunity for dedicated RNs with a passion for pediatric critical care. We welcome first-time travelers with experience and provide orientation to ensure your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer breathing treatments and manage chest tube set-up and care.
• Utilize CPAP/BiPap and high-frequency vents, including oscillators.
• Perform procedure sedation and rapid sequence intubation (RSI).
• Provide trach care and ventilator management.
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage central lines and vascular devices.
• Utilize epidural and PCA pumps, as well as wound vacs.
• Obtain 12 lead EKGs and manage drains.
• Float to NICU or other units within skill set as needed.

Requirements:

• 2 years of nursing experience; previous charge experience preferred.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS.
• Preferred certifications: NRP, CRRT.
• Must be able to work every other weekend.
• Active compact license accepted.

This position requires flexibility and the ability to meet unit needs, as perm staff self-schedule first. Candidates must be prepared for potential floating to NICU or other units within their skill set.
