Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse in Atlanta, Georgia. This position involves providing specialized care for critically ill pediatric patients across multiple ICU settings, including Pediatric Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, and other pediatric subspecialty areas, as required. The role requires flexibility to float between two campuses and work a night shift schedule.
Job Details
- Position Description: Requisition for Pediatric Float ICU nursing at the children's hospital, with responsibilities across all ICU and general care areas as needed. Must be able to float to two campusesAMBH and SR.
- Required Qualifications: Active Georgia or compact state nursing license, minimum of 2 years PICU or Pediatric Critical Care Unit experience, BLS and ACLS certifications, EPIC charting experience, available for night shifts on a weekend block (Friday to Sunday), able to make up missed shifts, and tested with a drug screen; flu vaccination required, with no exemptions.
- Schedule: Nights 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The nurse must be prepared to float across various pediatric ICU settings and general care as needed. Must adhere to hospital policies including nicotine-free environment and mandatory flu vaccination.
