  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN or ASN) from an accredited school of Nursing; Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (AHA or ARC); 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited school of Nursing.
  • Additional Information: The position involves supporting a shared staffing model between the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, requiring flexibility to work in both areas. The candidate should be comfortable with and fully aware of this expectation prior to submission. Responsibilities include performing bedside point of care testing, assessing and prioritizing complex patient needs, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting a safe hospital environment.
