Job Summary
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Located at the healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized critical care for pediatric patients from birth through 18 years of age, with a focus on hematology and oncology. The role requires adaptability to staffing needs within the pediatric critical care and hematology/oncology units.
Job Details
- Position Description: ASAP start PICU RN needed for rotating shifts or nights only, with a schedule of 12-hour shifts and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); valid nursing license; bachelors degree in nursing or associates degree with relevant experience; 4 years of pediatric intensive care experience; specific experience caring for pediatric cancer and therapies; familiarity with EPICs Beacon platform; located in the geographical area suitable for the assignment.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The candidate should have comprehensive experience in pediatric critical care and hematology/oncology, working with all pediatric cancers and therapies, and be comfortable operating as part of a small, specialized team. Flexibility in staffing assignments between PICU and hematology/oncology as needed.
