Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 5 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient rehabilitation and functional recovery
- Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to support patient-centered care goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Arizona or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work a consistent day-shift schedule in an onsite rehabilitation setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute rehabilitation or inpatient rehab setting
- Familiarity with rehabilitation documentation and electronic medical records (EMR)
- Strong communication and patient engagement skills
