Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistance services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and assist patients through therapeutic exercises and activities
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate patient progress and any changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Maintain a safe and professional treatment environment in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license; Compact License accepted for WA and AK
- Prior experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in a clinical setting
- Ability to fulfill credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements prior to start
- Commitment to a 13- to 26-week contract assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with documentation systems used in outpatient rehabilitation settings
