Key Responsibilities
Implement components of patient care plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Obtain and document data related to treatments provided during patient sessions
Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to modify care plans as necessary based on patient progress
Provide therapeutic treatment to individuals across all age groups, from newborns to end-of-life patients
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Missouri
Minimum of 1 year of PTA experience
Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Skills checklist completed within the past year
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working with diverse patient populations across varying acuity levels
Familiarity with rehab workflows within a SNF or LTC setting
