Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans in a skilled nursing facility setting
- Maintain and present a valid state or federal issued photo ID at the facility at all times while on assignment
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Adhere to facility policies, safety protocols, and professional standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Ability to work Monday through Friday day shifts for the duration of a 13-week contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Familiarity with documentation and electronic health record systems used in SNF environments
