Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement established treatment plans and monitor patient progress throughout the course of care
- Complete required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients during all treatment sessions
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license required
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting required
- Ability to meet credentialing and contract quality assurance requirements
- Must obtain a permanent state license for the assignment state prior to or immediately upon starting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to facility-specific documentation and workflow systems
