Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations.

Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments, progressing patients toward discharge within an established length of stay
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical record documentation including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry
Delegate and direct discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
Serve as an educator for patients, families, students, and coworkers; participate in student programs by providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and completing all state-mandated continuing education
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in good standing
Outpatient physical therapy experience required — new graduates will not be considered
Ability to complete 60-minute evaluations and treatments in an outpatient setting
Knowledge of and adherence to state Practice Act and applicable professional codes of conduct
Competency in medical record documentation in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience designing functional treatment programs focused on return to community activities
Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality initiatives
Experience supervising or mentoring students in a clinical setting
