Key Responsibilities
- Implement physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Communicate patient status and progress to the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safe functional techniques
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Missouri
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work 5 days per week on a day shift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
