Key Responsibilities- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing patient treatment plans within an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional activities as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient status and any changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment in compliance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Maryland (permanent license required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy setting
- Ability to complete required credentialing documentation prior to assignment start
- Must meet all contract quality assurance credentialing requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills- Previous experience in an outpatient physical therapy environment
- Familiarity with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records
