Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy treatments to residents in a skilled nursing facility setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and any changes in condition in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and goals
Assist in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
Required Qualifications
Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of California
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current CPR/BLS certification
Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior contract or travel therapy experience
Familiarity with SNF documentation and compliance requirements
