Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans and document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist in patient assessments and adjust treatment approaches based on patient response and therapist guidance
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and safe functional activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of New Jersey (or eligibility to obtain)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work day shift hours for the duration of a 14-week contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments and patient populations
