Weekly Gross: $1,040–$1,120 (Based on 40 Hours)
We are actively seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a Skilled Nursing Facility in Terra Alta, West Virginia for a 13-week contract assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative rehabilitation team while helping patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.
Key Responsibilities:• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, and mobility programs
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safety strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support optimal patient outcomes
