Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant in FL. Active state license required to start, if applicable.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to document treatment and communicate effectively with supervising Physical Therapist, patients, families, and interdisciplinary team.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with an established treatment plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through levels of treatment within patient capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and condition changes.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interactions following organizational policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and rehabilitation team members.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
