Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy assistant services to patients within a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans addressing patient functional goals and rehabilitation needs
- Document patient progress and clinical notes accurately using facility EMR (Protouch)
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility dress code (navy blue scrubs) and all applicable policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license valid in the state of Florida
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Ability to work a Monday–Friday day shift schedule (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to electronic medical record systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a long-term acute care (LTACH) or acute care hospital setting
- Familiarity with Protouch EMR
- Experience working with medically complex patient populations
