Key Responsibilities- Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising Physical Therapist's plan of care
- Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
- Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
- Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or ability to obtain prior to start
- Ability to follow established treatment plans and work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing physical therapy services
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and clinical recordkeeping systems
