Contract (13-Week) | Full-Time | Days, 8-Hour Shifts | Onsite | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment services to inpatient, outpatient, and swing-bed patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans as established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress, treatment interventions, and responses to therapy in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery and discharge planning across multiple care settings
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico or eligibility to obtain
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work day shift, 8-hour shifts in a hospital-based setting
- Experience working across inpatient, outpatient, or swing-bed environments
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a hospital-based or acute care therapy setting
- Familiarity with swing-bed program protocols and documentation requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment
