Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising PT
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records
- Communicate effectively with the care team regarding patient status and treatment outcomes
- Must present a valid state or federal issued photo ID upon arrival and wear a photo badge at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active New Mexico PTA license (or eligibility)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to fulfill a 13-week contract commitment
- Availability Monday through Friday, day shift
- Must meet a guaranteed 36-hour weekly commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a care facility or similar clinical setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
