Contract | Full-Time | Days | 5 x 8-hour shifts | Expected 40 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment and interventions to patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and clinical notes in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized treatment programs based on patient needs and goals
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status and progress
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required
- Washington State PTA license required; WA and AK Compact License holders are eligible
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Ability to fulfill a 13- to 26-week contract commitment beginning late November
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume outpatient clinic environment
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with credentialing and compliance processes for contract assignments
