Key Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing patient treatment plans
- Deliver hands-on therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
- Maintain a safe and professional treatment environment in accordance with facility policies
- Must carry and present a valid state or federal issued photo ID at all times while on site
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Mexico
- Current and valid state or federal issued photo identification required for facility access
- Minimum 35-hour weekly guarantee commitment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a contract or registry staffing capacity
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to facility protocols and patient populations
