Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in Santa Cruz, CA

We are seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a supportive clinical team in a full-time permanent role. This position focuses on providing hands-on therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and enjoys working closely with patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

• Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist

• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities

• Monitor patient response to treatment and report progress or concerns

• Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and safety precautions

• Assist with preparing treatment areas and maintaining therapy equipment

• Document therapy sessions accurately and promptly

• Support a positive and patient-focused clinical environment

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license (or eligibility) in the state of practice

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program

• Previous clinical experience preferred but not required

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
