Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Tuesday through Saturday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch); Saturdays are inpatient only with reduced hours
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Provide outpatient physical therapy services, which make up the majority of the caseload
- Provide inpatient physical therapy services on Saturdays
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary team to support patient care goals
Required Qualifications
- Active PTA license in the state of California
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Experience with inpatient or acute care populations
- Strong documentation and communication skills
