Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment to residents in a skilled nursing and assisted living setting under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans to support resident rehabilitation and functional goals
- Document patient progress accurately and in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with a seasoned, multidisciplinary therapy team to ensure coordinated resident care
- Utilize an on-site therapy gym to deliver effective rehabilitative services
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Missouri
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Ability to work full-time in a skilled nursing facility environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a skilled nursing or assisted living facility
- Experience working within a large, collaborative therapy team
