Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 5x8s | Expected 40 hours/week | Alternating shifts between 7:00 AM–4:00 PM and 9:30 AM–6:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy treatments to a diverse outpatient orthopedic patient population including sports medicine, geriatric, orthopedic, and women's health patients
• Manage an expected caseload of approximately 11 patient visits per day
• Participate in 1-hour evaluation sessions under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist
• Document clinical notes using the NextGen documentation system, supported by an AI-powered clinical documentation scribe tool
• Provide occasional coverage at a secondary clinic location approximately 20 minutes away, estimated at approximately 5% of the contract duration
• Collaborate with front-office staff, rehab aides, and clinical students in a team-based care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Virginia or ability to obtain prior to start
• Ability to work alternating shift schedules within clinic hours of 7:00 AM–6:30 PM
• Ability to manage a general orthopedic outpatient caseload independently
• Professional demeanor consistent with a business casual dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 1+ year of outpatient orthopedic clinical experience preferred
• Experience with women's health and/or workers' compensation rehabilitation
• Familiarity with the NextGen electronic documentation system
• New graduates may be considered following an interview
