Key Responsibilities
Deliver therapy interventions in accordance with the supervising PT's plan of care
Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with patient education and development of home exercise programs
Communicate patient status updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
Adhere to safety, infection control, and compliance standards
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active state PTA license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
Ability to follow established treatment plans and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
Flexibility with location, as assignment may transition to another facility within Rhode Island to complete the full contract term
