Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement and carry out established treatment plans in accordance with patient goals and clinical guidelines
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and responses to therapy accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team regarding patient status and plan of care
- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients throughout the course of treatment
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona PTA license required at time of submission, or proof of application with an estimated approval date
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work 5 days per week on a daytime schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
